Building a New Infrastructure Network: Connecting Two Major UK Cities Efficiently and Effectively
A proposed route was developed to connect two large cities in the UK with a new infrastructure network. At the Low-Level Design (LLD) stage, it was crucial to consider the locations of Primary Nodes (PN) and Secondary Nodes, as well as the placement of poles and splice joints, in the construction of this entirely new infrastructure route.
The use of existing infrastructure was not permitted for this project, necessitating a meticulous approach to ensure the new network was both cost-efficient and effective. This involved selecting the optimal routes and equipment to minimize costs while maintaining high performance and reliability. The project required careful planning to address the challenges of building new infrastructure from scratch, ensuring that the network would meet the demands of connecting two major urban areas.
